Why We Built This Site
Warrant records in Gaines County are divided by court level and agency. The sheriff's public page provides dispatch and custody information, but no county active-warrant search. The District Clerk maintains 106th District Court felony files, the County Clerk links an online criminal and civil records search, and the JP and municipal courts keep their own lower-court matters. Texas does not provide a single public criminal-warrant portal. A search of one office can miss another court's record, so the right follow-up is to identify the issuing court and confirm with its clerk.
What You Will Find Here
- Where to start: the warrant search page routes readers to county, precinct, and city sources
- Current process: how active warrants must be confirmed with the issuing court
- Missed settings: how bench warrants differ by court and case type
- Arrest process: what an arrest warrant authorizes and where felony files are kept
- City citations: local information for traffic matters, municipal warrants, and the two incorporated cities
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not a Gaines County office or a Texas court. The site has no access to official warrant systems. It cannot:
- perform an official check or determine whether a warrant is current
- change, recall, quash, or remove court process
- take bond or citation payments
- schedule a court appearance or arrange surrender
- give legal advice about a specific charge or case
- promise that a court contact or procedure has not changed since publication
The issuing court controls its case record. The sheriff can route questions about execution or custody, but the county does not publish a separate warrant hotline. Contact the official office for a current answer.
Search Partners
Some pages display search boxes operated by outside providers. Those businesses set their own terms, prices, and result coverage. If a visitor follows a provider link and completes a paid signup, the site may receive a referral payment. Provider results are not Gaines County court records and do not confirm whether a warrant exists. Review the provider's terms before entering information.
